Below are written notices from the Cascades at Soldier Hollow Home Owners' Association Inc.  As outlined in section 3.3 the Association's Bylaws, posting on the Association's website constitute written notice to the members. Please review this page often for any updates or formal notices.


August 20, 2020: The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting Thursday August 20th at 8pm via a Zoom call.



July 1, 2020: The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting Tuesday July 14th at 8pm via a Zoom call.



June 2, 2020: The HOA's Annual Homeowners meeting will be held June 23, 2020 at 7:00 pm at via a Zoom conference call. A meeting invite and password will be sent out by email to each home owner. If you are unable to attend you MUST fill out a proxy ballot and return it to kami@cascadespm.com before the date of the meeting.



May 6, 2020:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting Tuesday May 12th at 8pm via a Zoom call.



October 11, 2019: The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Thursday, October 17th at 7pm at 1025 Eden Prairie Way.


October 11, 2019:The number of votes needed to pass the revised CC&R's in regards to the Construction Compliance Deposit, and the non preferred builder fee, was received. A copy of the Amendment is below. 



July 25, 2019:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Wednesday, July 31st at 8:00pm at 925 S Cascade Ct.  



June 15, 2019:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30pm at 925 S Cascade Ct. 




June 5.,2019:The annual Member Meeting will be held on June 25th at 7pm. The meeting will be held at the Wasatch Senior Center at 465 E 1200 S, Heber City, Utah. If there is not a sufficient number of members present or represented by proxy to hold the meeting, then another annual members meeting will be held at 7:15pm on the same evening with a reduced quorum requirement as authorized in the HOA’s By-Laws. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the state of the HOA, to vote on changes to the HOA's bylaws, and to hold an election to fill two Board of Trustee positions. 



April 15, 2019:There will be an HOA Member Meeting on April 25, 2019 at 6:30pm at the Wasatch Senior Center to discuss a $200 special assessment to fund VOLT. Please email all ballots to Ryan Miller at ryanmiller55@gmail.com, or to 920 S Coldwater Way, Midway, UT 84049. 



January 30, 2018:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Monday, February 4th at 8pm at 925 S Cascade Ct.

June 12, 2018: The annual association meeting will be held on June 26, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Midway Community Center. The address is 160 W Main St. Midway, UT 84049.

November 27, 2017:This is a notice that the Board of Trustees ratified revisions to the Architectural Design Guidelines as adopted by the Declarent.




October 23, 2017:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 25th at 6pm at 925 S Cascade Ct.



September 7, 2017:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on Thursday, September 7th at 6pm at 925 S Cascade

July 18, 2017:The HOA Board of Trustees will hold a meeting on ​Tuesday, July 26th at 7pm​ at 925 S Cascade Ct.



June 20, 2017:The HOA board of trustees will hold a meeting on Friday, June 23rd at 10am at 910 S Price Farm Ct.



May 31, 2017:The annual association meeting will be held on June 27, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Midway Community Center. If there is not a sufficient number of members present or represented by proxy to hold the meeting, then another annual members meeting will be held at 7:15pm on the same evening with a reduced quorum requirement as authorized in the HOA’s By-Laws. We will be electing board members for the several opening slots and reviewing the finances of the HOA as well as other items.


April 24, 2017:The HOA board met and discussed status of current and future projects, as well as plans for the annual meeting. 


April 14, 2017: The HOA board of trustees will hold their quarterly meeting on Monday, April 24th at 10 am at 910 S Price Farm Ct. 


March 13, 2017: The board met and discussed current and future projects. The playground construction will move forward. The board approved an increase in HOA dues by $10/month (for a total of $120/month) starting in June 2017. As per the HOA's CC&Rs, the annual homeowners meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 7 pm. Location: Midway Community Center (160 West Main Street, Midway) .​


Feb 27, 2017: The board of trustees will meet on Monday, March 13th at 2 pm at 910 S Price Farm Ct.

 


Nov 10, 2016:The board of trustees met and discussed current projects and design review committee issues 



Nov 2, 2016: The board of trustees will hold a quarterly meeting on Thursday, Nov 10 at 3:30 pm at 910 S Price Farm Ct. 



July 1, 2016: The new board met and elected Earl Norris as the new board president. The board also voted to have owners submit a $1000 design review deposit rather than two payments  of $500 each for the design review process. 



June 28, 2016: The HOA's Annual Homeowners meeting will be held this day at 6:00 pm at the Wasatch County Library Community Room. If you are unable to attend you MUST fill out a proxy ballot and return it to natalie@archespm.com before the date of the meeting.

 


June 14, 2016: The board of trustees met and discussed summer projects, including adding a small playground to the subdivision. 



April 17, 2016: Notice of Board of Trustees meeting on June 14 at 7:00 pm at at 885 S Whitewater Way, Midway, UT. There will also be a meeting of all the members held on June 28 at 6:00 pm at the Wasatch County Library Community Room.   



March 11, 2016: Notice of a Board of Trustees meeting on March 29 at 7:00 p.m. at 885 S Whitewater Way, Midway, UT 84049.  This is a notice that the Board of Trustees will consider and ratify the revisions to the Architectural Design Guidelines as adopted by the Declarent.



January 4, 2016: 2015 HOA Summary and Notice of annual member meeting and notice of an option for email receipt of Board Meetings mailed to all members


November 11,2015: The Board of Trustees met and agreed to set a standard for the cobble to added to the swales as people build. It was approved that home owners be required to use 4-5 inch river cobble available from Staker Parsons to match as closely as possible the existing cobble near the entrance to the subdivision.




October 20, 2015: Notice of a Board of Trustees meeting on November 11 at 7:00 p.m. at 885 S Whitewater Way, Midway, UT 84049.


August 26, 2015: The Board of Trustees met and approved the decision to stop sending mailed monthly statements to homeowners. Homeowners may opt-in to receive an emailed monthly statement instead by contacting natalie@archespm.com and asking to receive emailed statements. It was resolved that the individual lot reinvestment fee be set at $400 rather than $2000 on all sales after September 30, 2015. The Board also adopted a rule charging $50 payable at closing for providing association payoff information needed in connection with the financing, refinancing, or closing of a lot owner's sale of the owner's lot.



August 5, 2015: Notice of a Board of Trustees meeting on August 26th at 7:00 p.m. at 885 S Whitewater Way, Midway, UT 84049.  A rule is being considered to charge a fee of $50 as provided by state law for providing association payoff information needed in connection with the financing, refinancing, or closing of a lot owner's sale of the owner's lot.  A rule is being considered to change the transfer fee as described in section  of the CC&R's be changed from $2,000 to $400.00 effective for all sales after September 30, 2015.  A rule is being considered to allow the association, at its discretion to also provide any notice by electronic means that also including text messages or email. Currently notice by the association's website is the standard method of providing notice and will remain so. 



April 23, 2015: The Board of Trustees met and approved a revised Architectural Design Guidelines, a vacant lot special assessment of $40, and raising the deposit for plan submissions (CC&R's Section 8.4.c) to $500.  Other matters were considered.  See below for Meeting Minutes: 



April 7, 2015Notice of Board Meeting and Pending Action by the Board of Trustees: This is notice that the Board of Trustees will be meeting to consider and vote on a revision to the Architectural Design Guidelines and to the Rules of the HOA, a special assessment for vacant lot mowing, and to the amount deposit amount collected for plan submissions as outlined in Section 8.4 of the CC&R's. The Board of Trustees is required by state law to give notice to all members of these proposed revisions prior to voting on them.  These proposed revisions can be viewed by clicking on the below button.  These revisions will be voted on by the Board of Trustees at a Board of Trustees Meeting held at 6 pm, April 23 at 885 S Whitewater Way,, Midway UT 84049. All HOA members are welcome to attend and/or express your thoughts or concerns to one of the Board members prior to the meeting.      




March 1, 2015: If there is not a quorum at the annual meeting for all members of the HOA on Tuesday March 10 at 6:00, a new meeting will be called for Tuesday March 17 at 6:00 pm  at the Wasatch Library Community Room.  This meeting will have the same agenda as the Tuesday March 10 meeting.  


February 10, 2015:  There will be the annual meeting for all members of the HOA on Tuesday March 10 at 6 pm at the Wasatch Library Community Room.  Elections will be held for Board of Trustee members and 2014 financial results will be reviewed.  The 2015 Budget will also be presented.  There will be 3 open positions for the Board of Trustees.   



January 7, 2015:  The Board of Trustees met at 2 pm on January 7 at Eden Prairie Way, Midway UT and after hearing comments from residents Gunter and Loraine Branham and Earl Norris, the Board approved the proposed Fine Resolution and Revised Architectural Design Guidelines. The Architectural Design Guidelines & Fine Resolution are effective

immediately.



  

December 12, 2014:  This is notice that the Board of Trustees will be considering and voting on a revision to the Architectural Design Guidelines and a resolution on fines.  The Board of Trustees is required by state law to give notice to all members of these proposed revisions prior to voting on them.  Below are copies of the Revised Architectural Design Guidelines and a Resolution on Fines for viewing or downloading.  If you would like a paper copy, please contact Desert Edge Property Management at 801-265-9004.  These revisions will be voted on by the Board of Trustees at a Board of Trustees Meeting held at 2 pm, January 7 at 1049 Eden Prairie Way, Midway UT 84049. All HOA members are welcome to attend and/or express your thoughts or concerns to one of the Board members prior to the meeting.



December 5, 2014:  The results of the Members of the Association vote was in favor of passing the Second Amendment of the First Amendment of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. 82% of the eligible votes were cast and 88% of those votes were cast in favor of the amendment.  A copy of the recorded amendment is below. ​​November 5, 2014:  Members of the Association are voting on the Amendment to the Second Amendment of the First Amendment of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restriction for the Cascades at Soldier Hollow Home Owners' Association Inc--note that voting ends December 4, 2014.  Call Desert Edge Property Management if you have not received a ballot.
